Opening Night
March 1, 4-6 pm

At The South Church Community House, 8 Temple Street Kennebunkport, and on the South Church Portico

Reflect on the art work displayed indoors and out, docents explaining the depicted themes of light/dark.  Short program inside at 5 pm.  Light refreshments.   

Create a Shadow Box
March 13, 3:15-4:00 pm

At Graves Library, co-sponsor,

18 Maine Street, Kennebunkport

Participants of all ages and especially children to create shoebox shadow boxes, exploring themes of light/dark. Materials provided or can be brought.

Light and Dark Event:  A Time of Spiritual Deepening
March 20, 5 pm
Dinner at 6 pm

At South Church, 2 North Street, Kennebunkport

Themes of light and darkness will be explored in music, poetry, storytelling, and candle lighting in the church Sanctuary at 2 North Street.  A free Supper will follow in the Community House at 8 Temple Street.

Open Mic Night

Come present or enjoy music and poetry on light/dark themes, MC’d by local musician Dana Pearson.  Light refreshments.

An Afternoon with Aaron Rosen PhD
April 28, 3-5 pm

At the Brick Store Museum Program Center, co-sponsor,

117 Main Street, Kennebunk

Dr Rosen will address “Light and Dark in Faith Traditions and Cultures:  Can we be redeemed?"  Light refreshments.
