JAMES TWOMEY
Artist's Inspiration
In general, I like art because I forget about the outside world. It is just me drawing at the desk and not worrying about anything else. I was attracted to this project because I like drawing in general and thought that sharing my art would be cool. When I think of darkness I think of medieval times, with stormy skies and structures towering over me, so it was easy for me to come up with the concept. The light one is about hope, in the middle of nowhere there’s a giant cross glowing with a nice view in the background. Everything is light, hopeful, and happy.

About the Artist
I have been making art since I could use my hands to create things. I went to an outdoor school during my 7th grade where I spent every Monday in the forest no matter the weather. My favorite food, still to this day is peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
