MARIE WILSON-LAGO

When I learned of this project I was immediately interested. It involved painting, which I love to do and it involved doing something for my church, perfect! The thrust of the project was to show Hope and Despair, that is challenging. So many images raced through my mind but, in the end it settled on what I love the most, our landscape.  Every time I look at a beautiful sky, ocean, mountains, it always makes me think that there has to be more “out there”. Our world is incredible but there must be more. So I will continue on painting these scenes both large and small to celebrate our natural world. I hope you find this exhibit both challenging and thoughtful.
